Hi, I really appreciate your visiting my blog where you can get to know me better as a player, student, and person. You will see postings about my achievements, academic standing, and of course, performance on the court. There are links to published articles, my high school's athletic conference site with detailed statistics, my AAU schedule, and a game video of our sectional final in February, 2010.
As a student, I am in the top 10 of my class of nearly 700 at Lakota East High School, which has a great academic reputation. I am involved in community service. As for basketball, I play mostly shooting guard and was leading scorer for my team that reached the Elite 8 in the 2011 Ohio D1 tournament - and I am a lefty! Currently, my TRUE height is a little over 5'8", and weigh approximately 150 lbs. I am the youngest of six children: two brothers and four sisters. My older sisters are 6'1", 5'10", and 5'9, so I have my fingers crossed that the tall family genes on my Mom's side will keep me growing!

Did You Know Whit's Big Sister Played 9 Years in the WNBA?
Yes, Whitney's older sister Brooke Wyckoff played for nine years in the WNBA. Brooke was drafted by the Orlando Miracle in 2001, and moved with the team to Connecticut when they became the Connecticut Sun. She played her final four seasons with the Chicago Sky through August, 2009. Click below to see the Sky's video tribute to Brooke.
